No new news on the New Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie as of yet. As soon as I hear anything more on it, I'll post it up here.

Carpenter Leaves "Buffy" for "Angel"
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer�s" Charisma Carpenter is set to work on the new WB "Buffy" spinoff "Angel." Next season, Carpenter will give up her regular spot on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," to become a regular on "Angel." She will, however, continue to make occasional, guest appearances on the original WB series. In the spinoff, Carpenter will remain in her role of Cordelia Chase. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star David Boreanaz will also star in the new series. The WB has picked up 13 episodes of "Angel." According to the US Buffy newsgroup "A promo for the Angel series is being shot right now. The title for the show appears to be simply Angel and the only named people in the promo are Angel, Cordelia, and Whistler."

Buffy's New Man
Buffy is going to get a new boyfriend now that Angel is getting his own series. The part is being cast now. The character's name is Riley Finn, and he supposedly also has a secret life. He's sort of the antithesis to Angel (the casting notice describes him as "if Angel were Bruce Wayne, Riley would be Clark Kent").
